I've been learning French for 6 months with an online tutor. Every lesson would end and after 2 weeks I'd forget where we left off and what we learnt, and I couldn't see my progress. So I built Lesson Journal. It records my lessons (Chrome extension, on a laptop/PC), reads my previous lessons and combines them, plus a bunch of metrics that show my growth. It also builds practice tests from our lessons following a real exam structure, and flashcards based on our lessons, so it only shows me words I actually learned. It works for any language.
