Original Summary

I needed a FIDO2 key, found the open-source Pico FIDO project, and ordered a Waveshare ESP32-S3 Touch AMOLED board. It has native USB, a touchscreen, an IMU and microSD. Looking at all that unused hardware, I made the traditional maker decision to keep adding “just one more thing.” EvilKey is the result. It still works as a FIDO2 key, but now has a dark touch UI and on-device PIN entry for compatible user-verification requests (host-side PIN remains available when the client chooses it). Air Mouse uses the IMU for cursor movement only while I hold MOVE on the screen; touch handles clicks and scrolling. USB Tool is a separate, explicitly selected role for HID scripts. A script runs only after pressing RUN. The harmless demo on my own PC opens Notepad and types a joke. The case in the linked photos is a home-printed prototype fitted to the Waveshare PCB V1. I have not tested V2 fit. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Li-ion charging are present on the board, but are not EvilKey features yet. If this were your side project, what would you prioritize next: stronger key storage, one genuinely useful wireless feature, easier setup, or stopping here and polishing what already works? What would you actually use, and what sounds clever only on paper?
