Original Summary

I'm a developer and keyboard user and I use my PC standing up and am like a few feet away from my main desk. I don't like carrying a mouse so I want just my wireless keyboard. I like planning my day with time blocks, but I hated what happened when the plan changed. If one task ran over, I had to reach for the mouse, drag the block, resize it, and move everything after it. Sometimes fixing the calendar took long enough that I just stopped updating it. So I built Kyrou, a keyboard-first planner built on top of Rust. I can move tasks, adjust their duration, or push back the rest of the schedule using just my keyboard so it's quick. Have a defer feature. The goal was simple: adjusting my calendar shouldn’t interrupt the work I was trying to plan. Does anyone else stop using their calendar once the day gets out of sync? submitted by /u/GuiltyDraw6402 [link] [comments]
