Original Summary
If you want to buy a small business in Europe, the listings are scattered across 35+ national portals, each in its own language, with its own categories and its own idea of what the "price" field means. France alone has two big ones, Bpifrance Transmission and Transentreprise (the latter run by the chambers of commerce and chambers of trades), and most other countries have their own. So I built Firmscreener. It pulls the active for-sale listings from those portals into one list, drops wanted-to-buy ads, real-estate ads, shell companies and duplicates, and lets you filter the rest by country and industry. Titles are translated, the site is in 6 languages (EN, FR, NL, ES, IT, PL) and the data refreshes daily. Free, no ads, no sign-up. Snapshot (26 Sep 2026) 90,415 active listings from 35+ portals in 18 countries Top 5: France 44,889 · UK 15,978 · Germany 14,188 · Sweden 2,776 · Italy 2,284 France alone is almost half (49.6%) Median asking price, counting only listings that show one: France €150,000 (n=7,156) · Germany €120,000 (n=1,049) · Spain €60,000 (n=762) In those three countries most listings have no price: only ~16% show one in France, ~7% in Germany, 47% in Spain Link: firmscreener.eu submitted by /u/renditescreener [link] [comments]
