I've been building Porchlight, a small web app for getting older people talking about their lives and keeping those stories for the family. How it works: the person opens it on a tablet or phone and taps one big button. A question is read out loud ("What was your first job?" kind of thing), they answer, and the recording is saved and transcribed. Family members get a page where they can listen and leave a voice note back. It's new and has no real users yet, so I'm asking for help testing it. What I want to find out: Does it record on your device and browser? On an answer longer than 30 seconds, does "Saved ✓" show up? If you switch apps, lock the screen, or close the tab mid-answer, does the mic actually turn off? Anything that confused you. The recorder was the hardest part to get right (long answers used to be what failed), so bug reports there are the most useful thing you could give me.
