I’ve been building Vidorac, a small project that downloads public media from TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit and X. The thing that annoyed me about a lot of downloaders was that they often just give you one “HD” option, sometimes force an ad before the download, and give very little control over the actual format. With Vidorac I’m trying to do it differently: - show the real video resolutions that are actually available - let you choose the output quality - MP3 output with selectable bitrate - show source audio quality separately from MP3 output bitrate - Original / Best Audio when available - no account required I’m still improving the UI and infrastructure, and I’d genuinely like feedback from people who use tools like this.
