Original Summary
You're already paying for claude, chatgpt, cursor, or some API to access an LLM (think openclaw/hermes) So why are you also paying 50$ to 100$ per month for software whose main job is: take a list of prospects run a sequence send emails AI agent can already handle the logic except for the communication layer. That's the setup I've been experimenting with: Search lead → get email and phone → send to AI agent + hail MCP → email the lead + do the follow up For example: Pull leads from enrichment API, scraper, CRM, or CSV Give to Claude Let the agent research and decide who fits the ICP Generate the message based on brand rules Use Hail MCP to send the email, SMS, or make the call When the prospect responds, let Claude qualify and update CRM, or escalate to you No need for a campaign builder in the middle. The economics are good: Claude: ~ 20-200$/month (you already pay for it) Lead enrichment: ~ 17-25$ for 1000 emails Hail: 1$ for 1000 emails ( https://hail.so ) That's basically your outbound stack with much more control. What I learned the hard way: 1. Don't use your main company domain for cold outbound. Connect a separate outbound domain or subdomain. If its reputation gets bad, replace it without touching your main inbox. Hail can help you with that. 2. Use a local number for calls If you're calling leads in the US, use a US number. Same for UK, Germany, Spain, etc. You can buy low-cost numbers by country and let the agent use the right number for each lead, because a local number is much less strange than getting a sales call from a random foreign number. 3. Reply within 5 minutes while the intent is hot Your agent doesn't need to wait until you check your inbox. Reply comes in → agent gets it → qualifies the lead or replies within seconds. Speed always matters. submitted by /u/redouanea [link] [comments]
