Hey r/SideProject , Every time I needed to convert an iPhone HEIC photo to JPG, merge a sensitive PDF, or extract audio from an MP4, I had to upload my files to a third-party cloud server and hit an arbitrary "2 files per day" paywall. So I built ZeroConvert: https://getzeroconvert.com Everything runs 100% locally inside your browser's memory (RAM) with zero server uploads: • Audio & Video: Single-threaded FFmpeg.wasm combined with the browser's native C++ OfflineAudioContext (decodes a 30MB audio track in ~1.5 seconds locally) and fast stream-copy muxing for MP4. • Images (HEIC, WebP, AVIF, PNG, JPG, SVG): Decoded client-side via WebAssembly (libheif) and HTML5 Canvas. • PDFs & Spreadsheets (PDF, XLSX, CSV, JSON, XML): Processed in RAM using PDF-Lib and SheetJS. There are no signups, no watermarks, and no daily conversion limits.
