I was tired of seeing my desktop always cluttered. After spending hours looking for the perfect wallpaper, within a couple of days my desktop was already full of icons. I looked for a tool to hide them more easily than right-clicking > View > Show Desktop Icons, but I couldn't find anything, so I decided to make one myself. Wallpeek is a simple floating toggle on your desktop that lets you hide and show icons with a single click. This way, you can show off your glorious wallpaper or simply enjoy a clean desktop at work, while streaming or taking screenshots. Wallpeek is available for free on itch.io , though there’s also a premium version that, for just $2.49, lets you customize the switch with a few different styles, as well as a keyboard shortcut.
