I still have music files of my own, and I wanted a player for them without another subscription or ads. Sravana is the web app I built for that: import your files, listen offline, and keep the actual songs on your device rather than uploading them. I added an equalizer with presets and 6-band control, gapless playback, optional crossfade, playlists and favourites. You can try 5 songs without an account; a free account unlocks unlimited songs and all of those features.
