I started this as "Rite Note" 18 months ago. I wasn't a Chrome extension developer — I learned the tooling from zero using Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf, went through an accelerator, pitched investors, then realized the interesting problem wasn't notes at all. It was continuity: why does every AI conversation and browser session start from zero? So I rebuilt everything around that question. What shipped this week: Floating capture anywhere in the browser — highlight, voice, one click. Always there, never intrusive. A W button on every Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini/Grok response — straight into persistent memory. An assistant that reads across your open tabs and synthesizes. Ten tabs, one question. Nodes that auto-tag, auto-link, and surface related memories in the side panel. PDF ingest, YouTube embeds watchable from any tab, page summaries, Exa search. MCP connector — I pipe Claude into it from my phone daily. Share-out to Notion, Obsidian, Docs, Bear, Craft, Todoist, TickTick, Tana. Not a walled garden.
