I take notes on paper and I'm not planning to stop. What paper can't hold is everything around the note: the whiteboard photo, the recording of the call, the PDF that arrived afterwards. They end up scattered across my phone, far from the page they belong to. So I built Letterpin . Anything you save gets four letters. You write them in the margin next to the line they belong to. Later, you type the code, or on Android hold your phone over the page (the camera reads your handwriting), and the attachment opens. A few decisions I'd love feedback on: Four letters, not QR codes. You can write them with any pen in two seconds, and no special notebook is needed. No account, and your stuff stays on your device. On Android the handwriting recognition runs on the phone and works offline. In the browser, everything is stored in the browser. Paper stays paper. It doesn't turn your handwriting into text or try to replace the notebook; it only adds a pointer.
