tldr: tui2web opencode gives a an ngrok like TUI in the browser. tui2web basically mirrors any terminal UI application (claude, opencode, omp, codex, even bash or vim) to the web. I know claude and codex (?) have remote sessions but I never managed to get it working, and none of the open source harnesses do. Your machine connects out to a relay I'm host and provide for free, ngrok-style, so no open ports or SSH app. But to be honest, putting terminal on public internet was kinda scary, so I also added first-class Tailscale support (fully local, VPN between computer and phone). Getting more philosophical now: I spent last year nomading and backpacking through europe and asia, and I had set up a phone based IDE which was basically hacking together claude + a VPS + Termius. And it was magical. I distinctly remember going on a hike mid day, checking in every half hour, but otherwise having a wonderful day. Would love to see more tools that enable whatever that is.
