I’m a filmmaker, and yesterday I opened VISUAREALM Creative House a platform I’ve been building for people early in film, TV and music. There are two sides. Creatives can make a profile, explore roles and keep their applications together. People putting projects together can create listings and meet potential collaborators. The difficult part is the part I’m in now: a place for opportunities needs both people and actual opportunities. The House is open, but I’m gathering its first members and listings. I don’t want to imply there’s already a busy marketplace when there isn’t. If you work in film or have built something with this kind of two-sided problem, I’d value a blunt first impression. Is it clear who this is for when you arrive? Would you know whether to choose Apply or Hire? What would stop you from joining at this stage?
