What it is: ForexRecap — connects to your OANDA account (read-only API key) and automatically pulls in your trade history. Shows win rate, average win and loss, breakeven win rate, P/L broken down by session, instrument, and day of week, and open risk on current positions. Why I built it: My own "trading journal" was a spreadsheet I never actually updated. I'd close a trade, tell myself I'd log it later, and never do it — so I had a vague feeling about how I traded, not real numbers. Couldn't find a journal that synced automatically without babysitting CSV exports, so I built one. Tech: FastAPI + Python backend, React and Vite frontend, Postgres, deployed on Railway. OANDA's v20 REST API for the sync. Where it's at: Live, in beta, OANDA-only for now (deliberately — one broker done well over five done badly). Free right now while I get real traders using it.
