I’ve been building a side project called Real DevOps Lab. The idea came from something I kept seeing with DevOps learning: People watch Linux, Docker and CI/CD tutorials, but when something actually breaks, they don't know where to start troubleshooting. So instead of creating another video course, I built a small hands-on project. The first free project takes you through: - running a real application - containerizing it with Docker - building it with CI/CD - deploying it to a Linux server - troubleshooting a DevOps incident For example, one incident gives you a Docker container that is running, but the application is unavailable. You have to inspect the container, check logs, understand the configuration and find the problem yourself. My goal is eventually to build more realistic DevOps tickets and production-style incidents. Right now I'm trying to validate the idea before building more content. I'd really appreciate feedback on: Does this concept sound useful? Is the onboarding clear? Would you prefer more incidents or larger end-to-end projects? What would make you actually come back and complete another lab?
