Original Summary

I'm the developer of Moneydy, a personal finance app I've been building on my own in Portugal. Most budgeting apps want to connect to your bank. I didn't want to hand my bank login to anyone, so Moneydy works from the statement export every bank already offers: - drop in the CSV or Excel file and it finds the date and amount columns itself - rules pick the category, possible duplicates and transfers between your own accounts are flagged, and you review each line before saving - recurring bills are detected, and the balance is forecast day by day for the coming weeks - stocks and crypto sit next to it with live prices, in €, $ or R$ There's a free plan and a demo with sample data that needs no sign-up: moneydy.com (the Demo button at the top). What I'd really like to know: if you tried an app like this, what would make you come back and import a second month? Right now most people who sign up never return after the first day, and I'm trying to understand why. submitted by /u/Glittering-Ad5398 [link] [comments]
