So here’s what a majority of people are doing I think ( I’ve done this too ) Saw capabilities of latest AI model -> got excited that i can finally implement that one idea I had -> vibecoded a website -> 6 months later post “my saas made 0 dollars” This journey belongs to a side project that you thought “hey why not slap a login and payment pipeline on this and earn some cash” A saas isn’t a website or app You need 1. Time Unless you go full time on it, you’re not getting anything from it. I understand the allure here. “I’ve got agents working on this full time!” But that’s not a differentiator anymore Money Funding or deep pockets. For many of us we are dangling halfway between pursuing a dream and not losing our jobs. That’s just how you mess up two things at once. Unless you have ample money or funding, you will have to divert attention to job Network Do you know how to sell? Do you have a salesman in your network? Someone who can get you a meeting with an important person. Someone for legal help? In the early stages you think ai can do it all. But ai can’t buy from you. That’s where you need a network in the end. And to access that network you need time and money again A market Everyone knows this. But we are all a little prone to be delusional for this one. How do you know if a market doesn’t exist? Your product hasn’t hit the market yet. AI sure says it rocks. Unless you put time and money and use your network. This remains unanswered In the end whether you will have a working business is a function of how much you can stand to bear.
