There are already plenty of per-app volume apps for the Mac: SoundSource, Background Music, and others. They work, but most had more going on than I wanted. I just wanted a slider per app and nothing else, so I built my own. It's called Still . What it does: - Every app gets its own volume slider and mute - Every app can go to its own output: music to headphones while a call stays on the speakers - If you unplug an app's output device, that app waits, muted, until the device comes back Under the hood it uses Core Audio process taps (macOS 14.2+), so it installs no audio driver and no privileged helper. It doesn't record anything, and it has no network code.
