I'm the maker of COI, an open-source desktop workspace with a character companion. It connects supported AI coding CLIs, lets you edit requests with prompt stickers, and keeps code changes in a working copy until you review and apply them. The interface supports English and Japanese. This is a development alpha for validated Apple Silicon Mac/CLI combinations, with a source build required—not a downloadable signed installer. You need your own provider account, and provider usage may cost money. I'd like to find three first-time testers, including English and Japanese readers. The main question is where setup becomes confusing: building the app, connecting a CLI, or making the first request. Failed setups are useful feedback too.
