Hi all, maker here. For the past weeks I've been building FLATLINE: an artwork that is alive only as long as people interact with it. The idea: a token launched on pump.fun (Solana). Every trade of at least 0.05 SOL is a heartbeat. Each heartbeat is painted live on a Chinese-style ink scroll: buys rise as mountains, sells fall as reflections in water, silence turns to mist. If the heart doesn't beat for 24 hours, the painting dies, permanently. Around it: - Each day of life gets a red seal, and that day's painting goes to its patron: whoever came early, gave the day the most, and stayed. - At death, the sealed scroll goes to its heir: the patron of the last day the heart beat. - The epitaph is the last heartbeat: wallet, direction, size, time. Stack, for the curious: - a deterministic JS engine (life rules, patron scoring, SVG rendering) - an on-chain indexer on a Cloudflare Worker with a 1-minute cron and D1 - a static site on Cloudflare - the token metadata and image stored on Arweave, so they outlive the site It launched today and the scroll is live: https://flatlineink.com The hardest part wasn't the chain, it was the painting: making mist look like mist and keeping a busy day beautiful.
