Original Summary

TL;DR(W): Me author, me build writegeist.app to author better, now you can too if want. So basically, I am a self-published author and wrote my first (German) novel quite a while ago. I've written it in Papyrus Author, which is very good and probably has the biggest market share in the DACH region, but it also feels and runs like it's from 1998. Now while writing my sequel in it, I finally got too annoyed and looked to switch. So first I tried other competitors on offer: Scrivener (too complicated, subpar spellcheck, compiler, no mobile) Word & GDocs (no worldbuilding or author-oriented features) first and then I also tried the newer players: Ellipsus (I liked that one most, but also missed worldbuilding/planning tools) novlr (didn't like its overall structure), novelcrafter (close second, but I hate writing in 'scenes' and also, it's a bit convoluted and its AI features are too intrusive). ...and some others but I didn't really like any of them. So I said fuck it I'll do it myself then. So I built writegeist.app in the past 13 months and released it to the public around a month ago. Freemium etc. you know how it goes. It has everything I personally need so I'd be fine if no one else ever uses it as I am finally making strides with my sequel and am not annoyed while doing it anymore. But I think it's a great tool so I decided to market it a bit, but I also hate marketing so instead I made a stupid video ad. Anyway, if there are any other authors on here, I'd really like to get some feedback by anyone else than me and the other 2 users on there, so I can make it even better.
