I've been building a vocabulary-learning app as a solo project, and I'm finally at the point where I'd like to get some outside feedback. The idea is to make it easier to build vocabulary around topics and difficulty levels , while also letting you save words you come across naturally while reading. For example, you can choose a topic and CEFR level and get relevant vocabulary to learn. Or, if you're reading a book and come across an unfamiliar word, you can look it up, explore its meaning and other information, and save it to your own vocabulary cards. The main parts are: vocabulary organized into lists and topics topic-based vocabulary at different CEFR levels look up a word while reading and save it detailed word pages with definitions, translations and examples pronunciation cognates and related words false-friend explanations AI-powered tools for exploring words flashcards for remembering words you've collected support for learning across languages I'm particularly interested in feedback on the overall concept and UX : Does this look like something you'd actually use? Does the combination of topic-based vocabulary and saving words while reading make sense? Is there too much information on the word screen? Would you prefer discovering vocabulary this way over a traditional flashcard-first app? What would make you come back to it every day?
