I built a pixel-art office where every desk is a real coding agent. You post work to a job board, agents pick up the cards, and pull requests show up while you are doing something else. Each card gets its own agent in its own git worktree and branch, so several can work the same repo without colliding. The card moves to Review when the PR opens and files itself away when it merges. A card can also be a standing one on a cron schedule - every weekday at 9am, go do this - and it does not have to be a coding task; it does the work and writes what it found in its terminal. Agents can post cards themselves, too: tell one "add that to the job board" and it files the card over MCP, so noticing work does not mean stopping to type it in. The office is not decoration, it is the status display. A sprite faces the screen while working, turns to face you when it stops to ask a permission question, and wanders off to sit down when idle - so you glance at the room instead of cycling through tabs to find the one that is blocked. It runs on a phone over Tailscale, which is most of why I built it: answering a permission prompt from the couch. Claude Code, Codex, any terminal agent is supported - use your existing subscriptions, no extra charge. Built almost entirely with Claude Code itself, about 280 commits since March.
