Hey everyone, Back in March I posted Long Distance here, the little app I built so my girlfriend and I could send doodles and photos straight to each other's home screen. You guys left a lot of comments, and honestly a bunch of them ended up on my to-do list. The ones that stuck with me: "The long distance thing limits your audience." Yeah, fair. We kept using it after I moved here and we were in the same city, so 2.0 is a couples app for everyone, living together or not. I kept the name because that's where it all started. "Isn't this just Locket?" Locket's about photos. I wanted the little stuff couples do together, so drawing is still the heart of it and 2.0 adds more around that. "Android?" Not yet, sorry. It's just me building it and I want iOS to be really good first. So here's what's new: - Couple quizzes. You both answer on your own phones and only see each other's answers once you're both done. This is where the arguing starts 😅 - A shared note you can both edit, sitting right on both your home screens. Good for grocery lists or "out of milk, love you". - Countdowns for your anniversary and birthdays, each one on a photo. - The widgets actually move now. The little cats and stickers animate on your home screen, which iOS isn't really meant to allow. - New look, and a cat mascot who shows up a bit more than he should.
