Original Summary

This started as a conversation about “AI slop” and the words we keep inventing for internet life. The result is The Devices Dictionary: short, satirical definitions of things future machines might need explained about us. I wanted it to feel like a dictionary you could get lost in, so entries link to other entries (sometimes in circles). There’s a guess-who-wrote-it game, a public submission form, and a review screen before new definitions go live. We also wrote the About page in binary, because we had already gone this far.
