Original Summary

Quick update on Paprly. Been heads down on a few things that don't sound exciting but actually matter a lot once real accountants start poking at it. Big one: I noticed a while back that a competitor (won't name them here, it's on my site if anyone's curious) rounds everything to 2 decimal places even though Xero itself accepts 4. Sounds tiny but if you're dealing with anything priced in bulk or foreign currency it actually throws totals off. Fixed that on my end, full decimal precision all the way through. Also added a thing where if the AI isn't confident about something it read on the invoice, like a smudged total or a weird font, it flags it instead of just guessing and hoping. Would rather it say "not sure about this one" than quietly get it wrong and have someone find out three months later during an audit. Been going back and forth on whether to build a Sage integration next or hold off. Technically it's already built, just sitting there unused, because I decided I'd rather wait until I actually have a paying customer who needs it than launch something into the void on a guess. Same logic with a bunch of other feature ideas I've got written down, holding off until real users tell me what's actually annoying them instead of me assuming. Also seriously considering just picking up the phone and cold calling accountants instead of emailing, since apparently email just becomes background noise for most people and a call is harder to ignore completely. Feels weirdly more intimidating than writing code somehow. Anyway, still grinding, still mostly waiting on replies.
