Original Summary
Hey SideProject, Over the past few months, I built https://tableroom.de – an independent browser gaming platform focused on frictionless real-time multiplayer. Tech stack & architectural constraints: - Backend: Vanilla PHP 8.2+ with zero frameworks. - Frontend: Semantic HTML, responsive CSS, and pure Vanilla JS (no heavy frontend libraries). - Real-time sync: Lightweight WebSockets with fallback polling. - Privacy: No user accounts, cookie-free self-hosted analytics. - Style: 1920s Noir aesthetic, strictly vector SVGs (no emojis in code/UI). The platform features 20 games ranging from tavern classics (Liar's Dice, Craps) to asymmetric escape rooms. It includes a public matchmaking lobby ("The Salon") and private rooms. Check it out here: https://tableroom.de Happy to answer any questions regarding real-time state management or the architectural setup! submitted by /u/Sascha_Keks [link] [comments]
