I’ve been working on an early concept for a social discovery product. The problem I’m trying to solve is this: There are probably people you’d genuinely find interesting — maybe even nearby — but most social/dating apps give you almost no meaningful way to actually find them. I’m exploring a system where specific interests, works, current obsessions, personality, taste and other identity signals are part of discovery itself — not just decorative profile tags. It’s also not meant to be dating-only. Dating could happen, but so could friendship, conversation, creative collaboration, or just finding someone who shares a strangely specific part of your world. I finally put together the first public concept page: https://context-first-16.emergent.host This is still pre-product research, so I’m not really looking for “nice landing page” feedback. What I’d genuinely like to know is: 1. After reading the page, is it immediately clear what the product is trying to do? 2. Does the underlying problem feel real to you? 3. What part feels strongest or weakest? There’s also an early waitlist on the site, mostly so I can measure whether people care enough about the idea to leave an email rather than just upvote it.
