Opus 5.5 came out yesterday and I wanted to see how far I could push it, so I tried building a cat version of GTA on my pet name site. About 34 hours later it's live: pawpetit.com What's in it: - you're a cat in an open city: knock stuff over, steal fish, swat people, drive cars - missions, a wanted level with Animal Control chasing you, a cat radio station - multiplayer: other players' cats are in the same city and you can chat with speech bubbles over your cat - the first 10 players who sign in become permanent residents, their cat keeps roaming the city even when they're offline The part I didn't expect: there's no 3D model for the cat. I refused to pay for assets, so the cat is generated in code (a signed distance field turned into a mesh, plus shell fur). It all runs on Cloudflare Workers.
