Laurel lets you run Claude Code and Codex 24/7 on the web from any device. The problem I kept running into was simple. I would give Claude Code a long task. Then I would need to close my laptop or leave. The work would stop with my machine. Moving everything onto a VPS works, but then there’s the server setup, the environment, access, and keeping everything online. That is a lot of work for a simple goal. I just wanted the easiest and fastest way to move my conversation from my laptop to the cloud. So I built Laurel. You create a machine and connect it to your agent. Within a few minutes your Claude Code or Codex session is running on the web. Your repo and your work stay in one persistent environment. Your state and context stay there too. You can send your agent a task and close your laptop. It keeps going. You can come back anytime from your browser, including on another device. The bigger idea is giving agents their own place to work instead of tying everything to your personal computer. I’m giving people a cloud machine for free to try it.
