Hey everyone! I built Piano Simulator 1000, an app that takes a YouTube piano performance and generates sheet music alongside an animated keyboard, with suggested left- and right-hand assignments. You can slow playback down and loop sections to practice. The public RC2 demo has prepared songs to try; adding your own YouTube links isn’t enabled in the browser yet. If you can read sheet music, I’d love honest feedback: does the notation match what you hear, is it readable, and could you actually practice from it? Even trying one short passage and commenting with a timestamp would help. This is an alpha release candidate, so there are definitely rough edges. I’m planning to open the repo publicly after this QA round.
