Hey all, I'm a backend engineer from Kerala and I've been building velra.tech on the side. It started because I kept doing the same small tasks (FD maturity checks, invoices, compressing an image, decoding a JWT) on sites that either wanted a signup, uploaded my files somewhere, or just gave wrong numbers. So the rules I set were: No accounts. Every tool works immediately. Signing in is optional and only saves your stuff. Nothing uploaded. Every calculation and file operation runs client-side, including image compression, PDF↔image, hashing, and JWT decoding. Correct, not approximate. The Indian finance calculators use the conventions banks actually book with. For example, FDs compound over completed quarters and the leftover days earn simple interest, instead of the textbook formula most calculators use. Tools cover money & business (invoice, quote, hourly rate, GST), savings & tax (FD, SIP, SWP, EMI, income tax both regimes, HRA, in-hand salary), images & files, marketing (QR, UTM), and dev tools (JSON, regex, UUID v4/v7, JWT, hashes).
