I'm terrible at remembering names, and I'm socially awkward. I've lost count of the number of times I've had a fantastic conversation with someone, exchanged information haphazardly, and then later realized I had no easy way to find them again. So I vibe coded ContactCard , a simple app for creating beautiful contact cards that you can save as images and keep handy on your phone. When you meet someone, they can scan your card and download whatever contact information you choose to share as a .vcf . They can also send their information back, which gets collected for you in one place. From there, you can save their card, download their contact details, and actually keep in touch instead of wondering three weeks later, "What was that person's name again?" LinkedIn has a QR feature, of course, but that keeps the interaction inside LinkedIn and assumes both people use it. I wanted something simpler and more portable, built around exchanging contact information directly.
