i'm a developer and been working on a desktop video editor as a side project. the basic idea is pretty simple: what if you had a modern video editor that worked fully offline (like capcut and davinci), didn't require a subscription, didn't sell you credits, and didn't lock useful features behind payments. i'm trying to figure out what would actually make this useful rather than just building features.
