I got tired of constantly doing this: write something → copy it → open ChatGPT → ask it to improve it → copy the answer → go back to the original tab. So I started building a small Chrome extension that lets me rewrite or clean up text directly where I’m typing. The part I’m experimenting with now is replies. Instead of only seeing what you typed, it can also look at the post/message you’re replying to and use that as context. For example, if someone writes a long LinkedIn post, I’d rather have AI understand that post before helping me write a reply instead of generating some generic “Great insights, thanks for sharing!” comment. I’m still trying to figure out whether this is actually useful enough to become a proper product or whether it’s just something that solves my own annoyance.
