Hey everyone, I've been working on something called Invio for a while, and I finally reached a point where I feel comfortable sharing it publicly. The idea started pretty simply: I wanted an invoicing app that felt like a normal desktop application instead of another web dashboard with 20 different menus, subscriptions, and things I probably don't need. So I built Invio. It's a lightweight desktop invoicing app focused on keeping things simple: Create and manage invoices Manage customers and products Keep business data stored locally Print invoices Export/share invoices Email support Designed to work without needing constant cloud connectivity Available for Windows and macOS One of the things I cared about most was local-first data . I don't want every basic invoice or customer detail to automatically become part of some giant cloud system. It's still a relatively young project, so I'm not pretending it's perfect. There are probably things I've overlooked, and that's actually why I'm posting here. I'd really like honest feedback from people who actually deal with invoices, small businesses, freelancers, or similar workflows. What would make you consider using an invoicing app like this? What would immediately make you uninstall it? And if you already use another invoicing tool, what does it do that you wouldn't want to give up?
