Original Summary

I (Nick) interviewed David, a solo founder in Scotland. He built an SEO MCP tool that lets you ask Claude for SEO data (keywords, rankings, backlinks) instead of opening an SEO dashboard. He launched in May and now has 50+ paying users. What stood out: He built it for his own frustration first. He was paying for SEO tools he barely used. Adding a free trial helped conversions more than any feature he built. His first users came from a few posts that took off on social. Now SEO brings in traffic every day. He tried a few side projects and shelved them. His advice is to pick the one thing people pay for and double down on it. He found building the easy part. The daily distribution work was the hard part. He's going for $10K MRR, fully bootstrapped and solo. The full interview has more detail if anyone's interested. I can drop the link in the comments. Full interview (as part of my new Maker Series): https://99helpers.com/makers/contextbolt Also, a question: I want to continue my Maker Series, where I interview makers/founders/SaaS owners. What questions would you like to see, or what kind of content? Thus far, what people seem to want are: MRR, and "how did you find the first customers". submitted by /u/nick__k [link] [comments]
