Original Summary

Last December my Wrapped told me I'd listened to more than 20,000 minutes of music that year. I couldn't name ten albums I actually liked. That annoyed me enough to spend months building something about it. It's called Trackr. It scrapes music charts every day from countries, so you can see what's actually blowing up in Korea, Brazil or wherever, right now. You rate stuff, write reviews, build lists, and follow people whose taste you trust. There's also a theatre mode that plays the video with lyrics synced line by line, which started as a weekend thing and somehow became the feature people use most. Everyone asks how it's different from RYM, AOTY and Musicboard. Fair question. Those are archives of what people rated. Trackr is about what's happening today. What I actually want to know from you guys: - Which would you rather land on when you open it: what's trending worldwide right now, or what the people you follow just rated? - For anyone who's built something social, how did you get past the empty-feed problem in the first weeks?
