Weekend experiment: can a one-person paid API earn anything from AI agents that pay per call? I built manifest-audit, an endpoint that takes a package.json or requirements.txt and returns latest version, license, deprecation, weekly downloads, and OSV vulnerabilities with fix versions for every package. Agents pay $0.01 in USDC on Base through x402, no signup, no API key. Things I learned getting listed on the Coinbase bazaar: the facilitator rejects any listing description of 512 characters or more, buyers echo your description inside their payment so that limit bites your customers, and it refuses self-payments so you need a second wallet to trigger indexing.
