Hi, Like many others, I've been adventuring myself in bootstrapping something on my own. I've already failed a lot and learned by doing so. However, at the same time, it's easy to get frustrated when you have an idea and try to get some feedback that tries to put you in the right direction. In order to capture potential users, I built a landing page with a few images for the MVP I currently have. The goal is to get people to sign up for the waiting list. I also have the option to pre-pay for the tool and lock in a founder's price. So far, I have 0 people signed up on the waiting list since I launched a couple of days ago. I'm failing to get some traffic into the website. I'm struggling to reach double-digit daily visits. For context, I am building an app for the Stripe App marketplace that helps you identify customers at risk, by pulling together information that already lives inside Stripe. So far I've been only using X to try to promote it (indirectly). I would like some input on how you actually find where your potential customers sit and some of the best ways to plant the seed. One of the things I learned here on Reddit is that people are actually open to listening if we don't try to sell them anything. By doing this, I got flooded with people trying to sell me stuff. Ironic, I know... I thought about trying to add a free tool to my landing page that tries to give some type of value in order to increase the traffic. Any thoughts on this? Also tried to search for the weekly thread here on r/SaaS , where I could drop a link and get some feedback, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Does it still exist? I don't plan on giving up, and I'm more than happy to adapt my idea in order to the problem I'm trying to solve, based on listening to customers. I know there isn't a secret source, and this is hard. What I'm trying to do is get some tips and insights from people who were stuck on this at some point.
