In my experience, TestFlight has been a single point of friction for acquiring new users and to get more feedback. I onboard 30 users on TestFlight over two months (consisting of 300 sessions) and I have gotten some feedback and most of the users stopped coming back to the app or use the app once in 3 to 4 days. 20 to 30 users is a very small set of users to judge whether my app is being useful or not, so my struggle has been acquiring users and people are either hesitant or don't know how to install app via TestFlight.
