Original Summary
Hi everyone, Building for finance experts means you can't just hide complex data behind minimalist toggles. They need massive amounts of information on one screen, immediately accessible. As a UI/UX designer, the challenge was keeping that extreme data density without creating cognitive overload. Here is what my co-founder and I focused on: High-Density Grids: Tightening the spacing systematically to fit 30% more data above the fold without making it unreadable. Strict Visual Hierarchy: Using heavily muted tones for secondary data so that critical financial shifts and alerts instantly pop. Power-User Architecture: Structuring the dashboard layout to prioritize rapid scanning and keyboard-first navigation. We just pushed this new interface live here: https://investor-dashboard-eight.vercel.app For those who build or use heavy B2B SaaS, I need a reality check: Did we strike the right balance? Does the modernized UI still feel robust and credible enough for hardcore finance experts, or does it look too "startup-y"? Thanks for your brutal honesty. submitted by /u/FanSea9808 [link] [comments]
