sorry for the rant and wasting your time, but im just wondering how do you guys here actually feel about those posts. I use ai quite frequently for school and projects so this is not a generic anti ai post, but i noticed how in r/ anything software related, there are so many of those low effort "i made xxxx doing xxx, xxxxx", and they always look identical it always have a weird punctuation mark in the title as if its revealing something huge. Then they always overuse first person, "I did this", "this made me feel that", "I think", "My xxx", you can literally tell that the AI they are using over corrected after being told to "make the post sound more human" , and i can even tell they probably used claude since literally they literally sound like Claude. And clearly they didn't even bother to polish them, i have a small local thing on my device and even my crappy set up flag them 100% all the time. It's impossible to see genuine thoughts or even genuine outreach anymore... AND, of course, some people use ai to write with them, and technically the perplexity would be way different than a predictable ai outreach post, im not against the general usage of ai, but spamming low effort post is just disrespectful to other human beings, it shows you don't really have skin in the game to even bother writing your thoughts and contribute genuinely.   submitted by   /u/BackgroundWarthog104 [link]   [comments]
