Hi r/SideProject - lately I'm using AI for a lot more than writing code. I use it to create demo videos, write blog drafts, and find conversations about problems my products solve. I often want to do these tasks off-hours when I'm sleeping. I could pay for Cloud agent service, but those services don't have my local machine's context and setting that up along with my Claude/Codex sub on remote machines would be a hassle. That's why I built Overboard . It's a scheduler and dispatcher for agents on your Mac. Pick a project, give it a prompt or a plugin command, and set when it should run. It opens a local Claude/Codex session on my Mac (using my existing sub), so I can watch it, take over, or come back later and read what it did. What's cool is I can also send a one-off task from Slack or Telegram when I'm away from my desk. And it has context about my repos, project goals, and any items that need a human in the loop. I talk with the morning review agent about what I should focus on across my projects.
