I see a lot of creators using Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, Patreon, etc. I was always slightly emotionally opposed to donating and seeing platform fees take a chunk of it, especially when I just wanted to say thanks and keep it up. So I built Supportify. It takes 0% platform fees on one-time tips and 4% on recurring support. Payment processing fees still apply, sadly Stripe's processing fee isn't something I can eliminate. I built it with creators in mind, so there are a bunch of ways to customize your support page, plus things like: Polls that can help promote your support link Creator promo kits for video creators Customizable support pages Donation alerts that queue up in your overlay when you're streaming or recording That last one is something I think could be especially useful for YouTubers. Instead of a tip being an isolated transaction, you can have the alert queue up and trigger it when it makes sense during a stream or recording. It's completely free to sign up and only takes a couple minutes. You can just put your Supportify link in your bio/description and let people support you when they want to. I'm not expecting to get rich from this. It costs me about $55/month to run everything, and with only around 15–20% of support being recurring, I'd need roughly $8,000/month flowing through the platform to break even. Anyway, I built it because I wanted this to exist, and I'm posting because I figured some creators here might find it useful.
