Original Summary
First: stop burning tokens inside Bolt/Lovable for every fix. When something breaks, I download the code and throw it at a different LLM (Claude, GPT, whatever) to figure out the actual problem first. Then I go back to Bolt with a specific prompt instead of "hey this is broken, fix it." Cut my token usage by 45%. Same trick works for external integrations too, just have the other LLM write the exact prompt Bolt needs. Second, and this one took me longer to learn: marketing is brutal and cold outreach will humble you fast. Way more no's than yes's, every time. What actually helped was talking to 5 people BEFORE building anything, not after. I thought I knew who had this pain point. I was wrong about half of them. Their actual job titles and workflows ended up shaping the product more than my original idea did. Build your ICP since day one. Also learned the hard way that building in public only works if you're posting where your people actually are. I was posting on the wrong platform for months wondering why nobody engaged. Happy to go deeper on either of these if anyone's curious. submitted by /u/Sorry_Ambition_1133 [link] [comments]
