Original Summary

I do a lot of secondary research and I kept hitting this problem: I save 50-100 articles, reports, competitor pages for a project. Come back 3 months later for a client and 30-40% are 404, paywalled, or the content changed. My bookmarks are useless. Tools like Pocket/Raindrop only save the URL, not the content. How are you all handling this? Screenshots? Wayback Machine? Paying for archive tools? I got so frustrated I started building a small tool that saves a clean, permanent, searchable copy in 1 click with AI summary — FetchMark. Testing it with a few researchers now. Try for free: https://fetchmarkapp.com Curious: Is link rot a real pain for you too or just me? What is your current workflow for saving sources permanently? Would a searchable permanent archive be useful in your stack? Happy to share what I learned about archiving if useful. submitted by /u/Low-Actuary8926 [link] [comments]
