Weekend project. Type a work problem in plain words, and the tools that fit rise out of the pile. Clear the box and they fall back down. Under it is Jev, a classification model that can't write text, only score typed questions. Each search sends it one yes/no question per tool ("is this tool one of the best answers to this request?") plus one about company size. All 51 are answered in parallel, in 150 to 280 ms, for about $0.0005 a search. No signup, nothing to install: https://dormytech.com/jev The fun part was what it can't do. Each tool is scored only against a summary I wrote, so if a feature isn't in my write-up, the tool can never be picked for it. It ranks badly sometimes, but it can't invent a feature.
