I have been working on a browser-based tool that lets you replace text inside an image when you no longer have the original editable file. The idea came from situations where you have a screenshot, scanned document, poster, etc., and just need to change a few words without recreating the whole thing from scratch. The two things I have found hardest are matching the original font and spacing, and rebuilding the background properly after removing the text. I would love to hear from people who actually deal with this kind of work: What kind of images do you usually need to edit? What annoys you the most: wrong fonts, background artifacts, things moving out of place, or poor export quality? What would make you comfortable uploading a real file to a browser-based tool?
